Why do you need a home gym?

Building a home gym offers numerous advantages, making it an appealing choice for fitness enthusiasts and beginners alike. It provides the convenience of working out on your schedule without the need to commute to a fitness facility, saving time and money.

Choosing Your Space.

When deciding where to build a home gym, the first consideration is identifying a space that suits your workout needs and lifestyle. Some people repurpose a spare bedroom, garage, or basement, while others carve out a corner of their living room or office. The size of the space will depend on the type of equipment and activities planned—yoga or bodyweight exercises might only need a small area, while weightlifting or cardio machines require more room.

What kind of training will you do?

Fortunately, fitness isn’t that complicated. Whether you’re training for performance, bodybuilding, hypertrophy, aesthetics..there are pieces of equipment that work for all of it.

Where do you start?

Now that we’ve got an idea of your space, and what type of training you’ll be doing, now we can really start building this bad boy out. Some might say to set a “budget,” which I think could be a good idea, but I also think, if you find a killer deal for something you love, and know you’ll use all the time, then I’m ok going past budget on a few items. Although, the entire idea of this gym is to do it for cheap, or cheaper, than you would by buying all new equipment. So if you’re spending a little more on something nice, remember that it might be a good idea to try to go a little cheaper on other items.
